What this website collects, why we collect it and who handles it for us. Last updated 25 October 2026.

Who we are

This website, www.i-kcal.com, is run by i-Kcal Systems Engineering LLP, Plot No 17, Tiny Industrial Estate, Punyadham Ashram Road, Kondhwa Budruk, Pune 411048, Maharashtra, India. On this page, "we" means i-Kcal.

What we collect and why

When you send us an enquiry

Our enquiry forms (on the contact page, the Careers page, the application notes page and some product, industry and partner pages) ask for:

  • your name, email address and message (required);
  • your company and phone number (optional);
  • on most forms, your industry and city (optional).

With the form we also note the page you sent it from and the form's subject. We use these details only to answer your enquiry and follow it up with you. They are saved in our customer records (Zoho CRM), and our team gets an email alert. A message from the Careers page is handled the same way and used to consider your application.

The savings estimator on some industry pages works inside your browser. The figures you type reach us only if you send them with the enquiry form.

If you email, call or WhatsApp us, we keep the message to answer you. A WhatsApp chat also passes through WhatsApp, under its own privacy terms.

Spam protection

Every form has a hidden field that only automated bots fill in. A form that has it filled in is not sent on.

Visits to the site (analytics)

On www.i-kcal.com we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager. It records the pages you visit, the approximate area you visit from (city or country), your device and browser, and how you reached us. When you send a form, it notes that a form was sent and from which page, never what you wrote in it.

Our Google Analytics account is linked to our Google Ads account. A Google tool called the Conversion Linker measures whether a visit came from one of our Google ads. Ad personalisation is switched on in that link, so visit data can be used to show i-Kcal ads on Google to people who have visited our site.

Partner and team sign-in

The application notes (/notes/) and the team pages (/team/) are for i-Kcal partners and our own team only. To open them, you sign in with your Google account through Cloudflare Access. Google then shares your basic profile with Cloudflare: your name, email address and profile picture. Nothing else is requested.

We use your email address only to check that it is on the list of people we have approved for that page. Cloudflare records each sign-in (your email address, the time and your IP address) in its access log.

Who handles your data for us

  • Zoho (Zoho CRM) keeps enquiries in our customer records and sends our team the email alert.
  • Google runs Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Google Ads measurement on www.i-kcal.com, and confirms who you are when you sign in to the partner and team pages.
  • Google Fonts: the academy pages under /learn load their fonts from Google's servers, so Google sees your IP address when those pages load.
  • Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the partner and team sign-in (Cloudflare Access). Like any web host, it handles your IP address and the technical details your browser sends with each request, and keeps server logs for a short time.

Some of these companies store data outside India. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and browser storage

  • Analytics cookies: on www.i-kcal.com, Google Analytics sets cookies (their names start with _ga) to tell one visit from the next. The Conversion Linker sets a cookie (name starts with _gcl) when you arrive from one of our Google ads.
  • Sign-in cookie: signing in to the partner or team pages sets a Cloudflare cookie (CF_Authorization) that keeps you signed in for up to 24 hours.
  • Choices kept in your browser: the site remembers a few settings in your own browser's storage, which is never sent to us: the Animations on / off switch, and on the academy, the light or dark theme, focus mode, the lessons you have marked done and the name you type for a certificate.

We set no other cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site and its forms still work without them; only the partner and team sign-in needs its cookie. To stop Google Analytics on every site, Google offers a browser opt-out add-on.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: while we are in touch with you about your enquiry or work together, and for up to 3 years after our last contact. Then we delete them, unless the law asks us to keep them longer.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics keeps the details of each visit for 2 months and the details linked to a returning visitor for 14 months after their last visit, then deletes them. Our reports show totals, not individual people.
  • Sign-in and server logs: Cloudflare keeps them for a limited time under its own rules.
  • Browser storage: stays on your device until you clear it.

Your choices and rights

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to the personal data we handle. You can ask us:

  • what personal data we hold about you;
  • to correct or complete it;
  • to delete it, or to stop using it to follow up with you.

Write to info@i-kcal.com with your request. Questions and complaints about how we handle your data go to the same address and are answered by Nitant Harani, Managing Partner, who is responsible for how we handle personal data.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date below.
